This is the government of Belize At it’s best; yes at it’s best, THINK ABOUT IT THIS is what some member Of the present forlorn government, And a newspaper editor Would want to run and ruin our schools! They have run down everything else What else could they do? Let the Religion schools stand free! Keep our schools as far away from government as possible!:

We hear it all the time! We must love “humanity”! We must undo the wrongs done by one group or race against another. Ahh “humanity” of course everyone can love humanity; it is difficult to love the person working next to you or on the street. Humanity is an abstract – it doesn’t exist. We can feel all nice and warm and tingly about our compassion and our generosity and our kindness; but in the end it doesn’t really mean anything because it doesn’t do anything.

Many of us will say: “But I love mankind, I love humanity. But I don’t know what would happen if I started helping the poor and they began to treat me with harshness, or if there wasn’t gratitude. I need to be thanked for what I am doing. I need an immediate response; I just can’t do good and be rejected.”

The reality of loving our neighbor is a very harsh and dreadful thing, not at all like the love in dreams. All liberals (and newspaper editors) love mankind; everyone loves the poor of the world. But to be down in the streets and actually picking a poor man up out of the gutter – they say, “I don’t know that I can do THAT.”
